The Thermaster, Thermachill, Thermaspeed, Soundslide, Soundlift, Soundroll & Soundsec doors are all manufactured in the UK at our production facility in Brampton Cumbria. The facility is equipped with its own design office, metal fabrication, electrical assembly, powder coating, high frequency welding, precision finishing, joinery department and service office. Manufacturing instructions for each door are stored electronically so, should a replacement part be required, we can ensure the correct part is immediately despatched to site from stock. Custom size parts, meanwhile, can be manufactured to exact dimensions and colours for fitting by SAFE-door engineers.
Our engineers are linked directly to the office with Asset Management software – they receive their jobs on a tablet with site address, contact details and reported fault, the system can also email or text the site contact on route or on arrival. The handheld tablet used by our Engineers carries Risk Assessments, Service Check Lists, Planned Maintenance Check Lists and Job Reports with electronic customer sign off. On job completion site reports and check lists are issued to the client electronically. There is also a client portal where customers with multiple assets can log in and review the service and maintenance of each asset and analyse costs and performance.
All SAFE-door products since August 2023 are now fitted with a Stainless-Steel asset tag including a QR code. This can be used by customers logging a fault with our Service Desk and by our visiting Engineers enabling them to scan and call up the asset history, review previous work and record any new work to the asset which can be viewed instantly at HQ and sent to the customer directly. Logging work to an asset gives a clear picture of each door’s performance and condition.
